After 5 years it was time to take a break. Also not super thrilled about the controversy Inktober became because of the creator.  It makes Frank sad.

Coasters

 Lately I have been making a lot of laser engraved coasters.  Definitely going for the "10,000 hours until mastery" thing with the local hackerspace laser.   It's uh ... a fairly complicated tool to use ... but a satisfying way to reproduce work.

Mastering the art of engraving

Still more laser burning.  Still mastering the art of setting a laser speed and intensity for different materials.  It would be cool to try something like leather or get better with glass.  Glass seems to be one of the hardest materials to cut with the laser I am using.

Here is the final for the Adequate Revelation Project.  Never was completely happy with it but one has to stop sometime.












Started another Zbrush sculpt.  Only the first pass.  Still have a LONG way to go.  Especially on hair and tertiary details.
